About The Farquhar Fisher

Portrait representing the Farquhar Fisher legacy

At the Farquhar Fisher Foundation, our legacy is defined by a deep-seated belief that education is the most powerful tool for changing the world. For years, we have partnered with communities across Ghana to provide children in disadvantaged regions with the resources they need to thrive. Our work is not simply about literacy; it is about empowerment, dignity, and the pursuit of excellence. By removing the financial and physical barriers to schooling, we are helping a new generation of leaders find their voice and rewrite the future of their communities.

Operating as a UK-registered charity (1214126), we pride ourselves on transparency and direct impact. Every scholarship awarded and every classroom resource delivered is a step toward a more equitable society. We work closely with local partners to ensure our support is both culturally relevant and sustainable, focusing on long-term educational outcomes that benefit the entire community.

Founded in loving memory of Mrs. Sheila Joan Fisher (1928–2025)
